Through the rush and turn of events, I am here in L.A to pursue an internship. Wow. I’m in L.A man!! How exciting is that?

So its almost a week that I’m here and what I’ve learnt is it might be better to have a car here or to get yourself a Metro card for bus transports. Definitely a car would be much more convenient.

Everywhere here is surrounded with the media industry. My classmates and I had a drive tour around the area and there on one street is the Screen Actors Guild, the Directors Guild and the Producers Guild. Near to our apartment is the NBC office, Variety, E Entertainment and many others. Living in L.A is a little steep due to its location, its beautiful gorgeous houses and the fact that it is Hollywood town. But you got to hang on somewhere to make it in this industry. So you gotta do what you gotta do no?

On our first week, we had visited Disneyland, Chapman University at Orange County (lovely and gorgeous place), and Sony Pictures Entertainment studio tour. We also had the opportunity to watch the Students Academy Awards on the first day we arrived in L.A. It was great.

Through the past day as well, we have been working on our internship applications so hopefully that gets through. The place is a bubbling pot of opportunities is all I can say. And so I’ll bring in more news on LA from a Nutshell soon!
