Had a pretty cool shoot at the Madrasah Aljunied, interviewing a prolific malay composer/arranger/instrumentalist/ instructor, Dzul Rabull Jalil. I missed the music performance that the students he were teaching played on the angklung but from what I saw of the footage that Alec shot, the music was pretty awesome! And I was really happy that Athalia and Alec loved it!

Just by Victoria Street as we walked out after the interview, Alec notices the old clustered cemetery right behind the bus stop. He filmed some stuffs while Athalia and me watched him on the side, a little nervously I would say.

Mr-Adventure indeed. He said the cemetery is really interesting and was going to do a documentary just on that. Its a good idea actually cos’ probably in a few years, it won’t be there anymore.

Perhaps my initial fear was unfounded after all and it gives me a new perspective on life.
