It’s a lovely morning today. Very cooling and the sun hasn’t fully gone up yet. I had my sahur this morning and reasonable portion so I don’t feel too full right now. Or at least it feels light. I think this will be my staple sahur meal.
Below is Day 2 of Ramadan and what I had for sahur and buka.

For buka I had a Chicken Katsu Soba. I didn’t take a picture unfortunately. But it is really a filling meal that one. A generous crispy chicken fillet is cut into slices and placed over a portion of soba, edamame beans, shredded carrots and cucumbers, slices of lettuces and chopped seaweed. You can choose a choice of 2 sauces: shoyu or tare sauce. And then just down it with soda water, and boomz, your break fast just got elevated in so many ways.
These first few days of fasting can be quite tough to adapt in the beginning. Concentration levels are lower. I do feel weaker than usual in the afternoons and sleepy too. So perhaps I need to incorporate bananas so I have more energy.
Will trial and error again what food is best. Okay back to my endless work task that I’ve been delaying. Next up, Ramadan Day 3 meal!
