The problem with travelling is you tend to be too busy or too tired that you forgot to take a photo of your food. Especially in a new environment, you’re groggy and it’s still dark outside.
It’s 5.45am. You’re just stoning and your brain hasn’t woken up yet.
So yes, I haven’t got a picture of what I ate for sahur. But I decided that no, let’s not stop there. So I drew.

I’m sorry the drawing is to be desired… seriously. But yes, that’s a chicken slice and cheese croissant that I bought from Starbucks at a rest stop on the way to Kuala Lumpur. A milo packet to keep me full.
Unfortunately I didn’t pick the right choice for sahur this time. It didn’t keep me full and I think I didn’t drink enough water.
Because later in the day, I was having a bad headache. I think it was mainly due to lack of proper sleep (cos we were sleeping in the car and it wasn’t exactly deep or proper sleep) and being dehydrated.
The headache became really bad that by 5.30pm, I was a little worried that I might faint or black out. So, I had to end my fast there and then and down a glass of water and a Panadol.
We had another meeting too over dinner so, I didn’t want to be not functional. So I did what I had to do sadly.
And yes, no mood to take pictures for dinner either. So here’s what I had:

Those long things beside the so pho bowl are cutleries by the way. The so pho was so comforting. Hot and soupy. The soft so pho noodles were just right. And minutes after eating, I was feeling better again!
So yes, the sucky part of travelling is it breaks your routine. So lesson learnt here is to always plan prior to your travel on what you are gonna eat. Otherwise it will just break your momentum and focus.
To more ugly drawings on next entry cause taking photos is so difficult (rolls eyes).
