Sharing my Instax that I’ve been taking and pasting them in my notebooks. Here are the first few that I took and my thoughts on the photos. It’s so hard now to bring out your camera to take photos because of all kinds of excuses. Nonetheless, that day I decided to go for a walk and bring along the Instax camera with me and forced myself to take a few snapshots. Here’s the first one of many.
Oh yes, also for context, walking felt really good during this period because of COVID. We were locked up in our houses and could only go to the shops to buy groceries, buy food, and back home. You weren’t allowed to linger anywhere. But walking allowed you to keep moving and have a breather. So at this time, the streets were pretty quiet and still. I remembered it was peaceful.
Notes:
Lighting a bit bright here. Found out I could lower the light by choosing a different mode! Will try it next time. But these were found along the bridge over AYE. I guess our own version of weeds here in Asia. But the flowers were so so pretty and sweet. The white one could be the Whitehead Spikesedge.
It’s funny how you pass them by without noticing their beauty. It’s only when you’re forced to bring a camera with you and the pressure of taking a picture is high, that you start to look around you more and see what you can capture.
Funny how that motivates you to look around more huh…
